19 Holes for Hospice

Scott Vivian Golf TournamentSaturday, September 13th, 2014 is the date for the 9th Annual “19 Holes for Hospice” golf scramble tournament.

The tournament was started in 2006 by the family and friends of Scott A. Vivian, who lost his battle with cancer. Capital Caring provided hospice support to Scott and his family, and 100% of the proceeds from this annual event have gone to the Loudoun County arm of Capital Caring.

This year’s event has added significance. Capital Caring will soon be opening the Adler Center for Caring. The 21-bed facility will provide on-site hospice care, as well as serve as the Loudoun County administrative offices for Capital Caring.

The scramble-format tournament will be held at the Westpark Golf Course in Leesburg, VA. The shotgun start is 1:00 pm.

The entry fee is $75, which includes golf, cart and a BBQ buffet dinner following the event. Raffles for many items donated by area businesses will also help raise funds for Capital Caring.

Don’t wait too long to register – the tournament has sold out for the last two years!
