We’re midway throught the 2013 golf season. So now that you’ve had some time to hone your game, how about a little competition?
Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, Virginia will be launching their 2013 Thursday Night Golf League soon. The league runs from July 18th, 2013 through October 17th, 2013.
Two-person teams will play 9 holes each week in a modified Stableford method (Eagle: 8 points, Birdie: 4 points, Par: 2 points, Bogey: 1 point, Other: 0).
The format will be NET Best Ball between the two players (substitutions are allowed).
Teams will accrue points throughout the duration of the league. We will determine leading point earners every 4 weeks, with prizes for 1st and 2nd place. After 8 weeks, Teams will
be flighted based on their cumulative points and an overall winning team will be determined.

Weeks 1-4: 1st- $100 / 2nd- $75
Weeks 5-8: 1st- $125 / 2nd- $100
Weeks 9-12: 1st-$150 / 2nd- $125
Overall: Flight A Winners-$200 / Flight B Winners-$200 / Flight C Winners-$200
Tees:
Men: Gold Tees
Men 60 and up: White Tees
Women: Raspberry Tees
Fees: $150 entry fee plus $30 weekly fee. Entry fee includes prizes and 3 awards receptions.
