The Greenbrier Makes List of Best Tour Courses You Can Play

Golfweeks Best Tour Courses You Can PlayThe Old White Course at the Greenbrier has been ranked #18 on Golfweek’s just released list of the Best Tour Courses You Can Play.

These are their favorite courses that are played by the pros and open to the public.  Congratulations to the Greenbrier for making the list – they were the only Mid-Atlantic course to be recognized.

The PGA TOUR’s second annual Greenbrier Classic will be held at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV from July 25 thru July 31, 2011.  The Greenbrier Classic is a week long festival where you can watch golf, try your luck in the casino, and enjoy all the activities including concerts with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.

The other 49 courses on Golfweek’s list read like a bucket list of must play venues.

Topping the 2010-2011 list are…

1. Pebble Beach
2. St. Andrews
3. Whistling Straits
