Join The Frederick Golf Guy at 7:30AM on Thursday October 20, 2011 at Hollow Creek Golf Club, Middletown, MD for 54 holes to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
Over the past six years, they’ve helped Hurricane Katrina Victims, The National MS Society, Christmas Cash for Kids, Alzheimer’s, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley. This year’s beneficiary will be The American Diabetes Association.
The tournament will be 2 person teams (sign up with your partner or they’ll help with pairings) and the rounds will be as follows: Round 1 – Best Ball Net; Round 2 – Alternating Shot; Round 3 – Scramble.
Each player will obtain a minimum of $300 in pledges. Collect and bring day of the event.
This event is limited to 36 players. Hollow Creek has agreed to close the course for the day to allow you to easily finish your 3 rounds.
There will be PLENTY of Tournament Prizes and Door Prizes. They will not be selling any raffle tickets the day of the event. Only those participating or volunteering will be eligible for these prizes.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
The event will be held rain or shine, other than a possible delay for lightning.
All proceeds will benefit The American Diabetes Association. ADA helps the more than 25 million Americans afflicted with this disease. Over 7 million aren’t even diagnosed!
