A Double Dose of Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods fans can get a double dose of the golfer during the next two weeks at PGA events here in the Mid-Atlantic.

Tiger WoodsTiger is the host of the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club, Bethesda, Md. that runs from June 26-July 1, 2012. The 2012 AT&T National is making its much-anticipated return to the Washington, D.C. area this summer, after a 2 year hiatus while Congressional prepared for and hosted the US Open.

Following the AT&T National, Tiger will be playing at The Greenbrier Tiger WoodsClasssic July 2 Р8, 2012 with a star studded field of 156 PGA TOUR professionals competing for a $6.1 million purse.

The Greenbrier Classic at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia has quickly become one of the better events on tour. The tournament is enjoyed by the golfers and fans alike.

Weekly badges for the 2012 Classic include 7 days of incredible golf and three phenomenal concerts. This year’s concert line-up is going to be the hottest ticket in July with Toby Keith (don’t forget your red solo cup!) and special guest Lionel Richie on the 4th of July, Rod Stewart with special guest The Fray on Friday July 6th, and Bon Jovi on Saturday July 7th. All this for the unbelievable price of $189!

So which Tiger Woods will show up at these events. The Tiger who on Sunday, overcame a three-shot deficit on the back nine to win the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village? The Tiger who was tied for the lead at the US Open going into the weekend? Or, the Tiger that fell apart on Saturday and Sunday to fade away at the US Open? Let’s hope he gives us a good show!

At The Memorial Tiger’s win tied him with Jack Nicklaus with 73 PGA Tour wins apiece. Will he overtake him with 74 or 75 here in our backyard? Stay tuned…
